Callataÿ & Wouters receives ‘Leader Quadrant’ placement in Leading Analyst’s 2011 International Retail Core Banking Magic Quadrant
Brussels, 3 October 2011 – Callataÿ & Wouters, a leading provider of core banking software and services, confirmed its position as a ‘Leader’ in Gartner’s International Retail Core Banking Magic Quadrant*.
Yearly, Gartner evaluates vendors in the International Retail Core Banking Magic Quadrant in terms of their ability to execute, and the completeness of their vision.

Thaler is core banking software that comprises over 300 modules and more than 10,000 services. It offers broad compatibility with third-party solutions – also known as ‘service-oriented architecture’ – and runs on major platforms such as IBM z/OS and SAP NetWeaver. Thaler is a scalable solution that includes functionality for deposits, loans, securities, treasury and payments as well as multi-channel distribution modules. It is designed to run either as an end-to-end solution, covering the entire range of core banking activities, or on a modular basis to support individual lines of business.
